Child Sponsorship
Breaking the cycle of disease, death and despair requires a focused and consistent response. Most AIDS Orphans have only experienced loss and disappointment. Over the past few years they’ve seen their parents suffer recurring bouts of sickness, never quite regaining their strength and eventually dying from an opportunistic disease. Whatever finances the family had was spent on medical treatment and they’ve also missed long portions of school caring for ailing parents.
Speaking hope into these lives requires direct contact and a comprehensive effort, one filled with the power and grace of God and one committed to seeing a spiritual transformation take root in individual hearts as well as the surrounding community.
With $30 a month a child will receive the food, clothing, medical care, and education they need. Godly men and women will love and encourage them to hope again. They’ll receive tutoring to help them in school and regularly hear and see that God hasn’t forgotten them.
Child Headed Household
One of the saddest consequences of the AIDS crisis is the inability of the extended family to care for orphans after their parents have passed away. Fewer orphans are being absorbed into their extended families. In many cases there are no longer grandparents, aunts, uncles or other relatives to provide care, and children are left to fend for themselves. This creates a living situation—Child Headed Households—where the oldest child becomes the guardian of his or her younger siblings.
Sometimes the head of household is a teenager but oftentimes the child is no more than seven or eight years old. Children who head these households are deprived of their childhood and usually have to drop out of school. They are forced to look for ways to provide for their siblings which increases their vulnerability to child labor, sex work, destructive cultural practices, and HIV infection.
Each child headed household sponsorship allows the Passion Center to provide the resources that a parent would otherwise provide…protection, food, shelter and loving support.

Build Them a Home
You can help provide a warm, dry and safe home for orphans and vulnerable children. AIDS has left many children without parents. Many live in houses that are in desperate need of repairing or rebuilding.
Your donation helps The Passion Center repair or rebuild homes that are little more than run-down shacks. We can help by…
- Replacing a roof to keep the rain out
- Repairing a wall to prevent it from falling
- Provide windows and entry door where none existed
- Rebuild home from the ground up
The cost for a completely new house, with two small bedrooms, is only about $3,000. Donating towards repairing or building helps The Passion Center demonstrate the love, grace and security of Jesus. Please consider donating $10, $25, $50 or even $3,000.

Education Now!
Consider giving to help orphans and vulnerable children attend school. Donations for education allows The Passion Center to pay school fees, tuition and to provide school supplies.
In a country where fewer than 25% of the children attend Secondary School, we are focused on giving every Passion child the opportunity of an education. Your regular or one time gift of $5, $10 or $20 goes a long way to those who have no way of attending school.
