We are convinced that next to the gospel, Education can have the greatest positive impact on an orphan’s life. In Malawi, only Primary school (1st to 8th grade) is free, though there are still related costs that most orphaned children struggle to pay. Secondary school (9th to 12th grade) is not free and even more out of reach.

We make it possible for all Passion kids to continue or return to school. We pay all tuition, fees and related costs for schools. We’ve also introduced Computer Labs and Libraries at our Passion Center sites. Not only are Passion kids given the opportunity to finish their primary and secondary school education, but we’ve seen more and more students qualify for College!

Breaking the Cycle of Poverty
One Lesson at a Time
Through educational opportunities, cycles of poverty are broken, chains of defeat and hopelessness loosened, and real skills, professions and marketable trades are learned. We are witnessing real generational change happen as more and more Passion kids qualify for Secondary school and College.
Now, we face the wonderful challenge of expanding our education budget to keep up with the number of Passion kids advancing in their education — what a blessing that is!
